PVC-U drainage pipes are made primarily from rigid polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) resin. Appropriate amounts of stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, and colorants are added. The pipes are then extruded using a plastic extruder and injection molded using an injection molding machine. The process includes cooling, curing, shaping, inspection, and packaging to complete the production of pipes and fittings.
Compared to traditional pipes, PVC-U pipes offer advantages such as light weight, corrosion resistance, low flow resistance, energy saving, quick installation, and low cost, leading to their widespread adoption and significant benefits. my country began piloting PVC-U pipe applications in municipal and building engineering projects in the 1980s. After decades of promotion, PVC-U pipes have achieved sustained development and have become an indispensable product in civil buildings and home drainage systems.
The inner and outer surfaces of the pipes should be smooth, free of bubbles and cracks, with uniform wall thickness and color. The deflection of straight pipe sections should not exceed 1%. Fittings should be regular in shape, smooth, and free of burrs. The socket should be tapered and matched with the spigot. During transportation, the product must not be subjected to severe impacts, throwing, or heavy pressure. The storage area should be flat, with a stacking height not exceeding 1.5m, and at least 1m away from heat sources. When stored outdoors, the pipes must be covered to prevent exposure to direct sunlight.

Cutting and connection are both simple. Pipe and fitting connections use reliable and safe PVC glue, making construction simple, convenient, and highly efficient.
◆ Low Thermal Conductivity and Excellent Watertightness
The pipe has a low coefficient of linear expansion of 0.07 mm/℃, resulting in minimal deformation due to temperature changes. Its low thermal conductivity and modulus of elasticity provide superior freeze resistance compared to cast iron drainage pipes. Whether using adhesive bonding or rubber ring connections, installation maintains excellent watertightness.
