Polyethylene (PE) spiral wound structured wall type B pipe, commonly known as Krah pipe, is a new type of structural wall pipe made from high-density polyethylene using a hot-processing technique. The weld seam of the flat strip is covered by a supporting pipe, improving the quality of the weld seam and the overall compressive strength of the product. The connection uses electrofusion welding, with pre-treated electrofusion welding wire, making the pipe connection convenient and reliable, especially for large-diameter pipe systems. It has advantages such as good connection sealing, strong anti-settlement ability, and long service life, and has been recognized by my country’s Ministry of Municipal Construction as a key green and environmentally friendly pipe product for promotion. The PE Krah Tube demonstrates excellent resistance to low-temperature brittleness, with a brittleness temperature reaching -60℃. It maintains stable impact resistance under harsh environmental conditions. In general construction scenarios above -20℃, no special protective measures are required, which supports efficient winter installation and continuous project progress.
Manufactured from high-density polyethylene, the PE Krah Tube offers outstanding resistance to chemical corrosion and environmental erosion. It does not require additional anti-corrosion treatment and maintains stable performance in aggressive soil and wastewater conditions. Its service life can exceed 50 years under normal operating environments.
The PE Krah Tube uses same-material socket electrofusion connection technology, ensuring high-quality joint integrity. This connection method provides strong sealing performance, effectively preventing leakage and maintaining consistency between the pipeline system and long-term operational safety requirements.
