PVC-U porous pipe is a plastic product made from polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, with the addition of appropriate amounts of stabilizers, lubricants, flame retardants, processing modifiers, and impact modifiers, through extrusion molding. PVC porous pipe also has advantages such as large capacity, light weight, strong impact resistance, and high ring stiffness. Its use in combination with single-hole pipes can better meet the diverse needs of large-pair cables and optical fibers, effectively saving pipe materials and limited urban underground space resources.
The PVC-U Porous Pipe is manufactured from high-quality modified PVC engineering plastics through a one-step extrusion process. It is designed to provide high mechanical strength, reliable durability, and efficient cable protection performance in modern underground infrastructure systems.
The PVC-U Porous Pipe offers excellent compressive strength and long-term aging resistance. Under normal installation conditions, no additional foundation or encapsulation is required. It effectively prevents settlement and can safely replace steel pipes when crossing road sections. The material also features flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties, along with strong corrosion resistance, ensuring a service life exceeding 50 years.

The integrated sheath and sub-conduit design eliminates the need for secondary sub-pipe installation. Cables can be directly pulled after a single laying process, effectively avoiding issues such as deformation, twisting, misalignment, and repeated construction work, thereby improving overall installation efficiency.
The PVC-U Porous Pipe is lightweight and easy to transport and handle. Its smooth inner wall ensures low friction during cable pulling, while its strong compressive performance allows shallow burial depth of 0.3–0.5 meters. No concrete foundation or encapsulation is required; backfilling with 20 cm of fine sand followed by soil is sufficient, enabling immediate traffic use after installation. Compared with PE or corrugated pipe road crossings, it does not require additional steel pipe reinforcement connections.
